Director Don Roos (Happy Endings) and actress Natalie Portman (Black Swan) flip to Ayelet Waldman's novel for a recent tackle the other-woman melodrama. In adapting Love and Other Impossible Pursuits, Roos starts after the affair and the marriage between two well-heeled New Yorkers, however there is no fortunately ever after for Emilia (Portman), a prison associate, and Jack (Scott Cohen), an legal professional, as a consequence of their baby succumbed to unexpected baby death syndrome.
